Filtering on the Navigation Tree panel

Set filters in Browser mode to control which type of mix components appear on the Navigation Tree panel.

About this task

Applying filters can be useful if you want to view only specific mix components besides the folders and mix folders. For example, you can hide all components to have only folders and mixes displayed.

Note: Filtered components are hid only from the Navigation Tree panel. They still appear on the Details panel if you select the Mix view.

Procedure

Log into the Developer Console.
Click the icon on the Navigation Tree panel's top-right corner.
Select one or more of the offered mix component types.

Results

The selected types of mix components - such as fields or services - are not shown on the Navigation Tree panel.

Note: The filter settings are saved to the browser's memory and remain in effect until you change them. Refreshing or closing the browser window does not clean these settings. A small green dot on the

icon shows if a filter is in effect.

What to do next

Apply additional filters or disable those you do not need.

To disable a filter, just click the respective type for a second time.
