Importing a project into the Editor

You have different ways of loading, importing or restoring an already existent project. You can import a SPARKL configuration from your file system, restore a configuration from your browser's memory, or import a configuration directly from the Navigation Tree panel.

Procedure

  1. Open the Editor.
  2. Switch to the Settings view on the Settings panel.

  3. Click OPEN DOCUMENT.
    The Open dialogue window is displayed.

  4. Choose where you want to load the configuration from:
    • Click the FILE SYSTEM tab to load a configuration from your file system
    • Click the BROWSER STORAGE tab to load a configuration from your browser's memory
    • Click the SPARKL tab to load a configuration from the Navigation Tree panel

Importing a project from the file system

Procedure

  1. Select the FILE SYSTEM tab on the Open dialogue window.
  2. Select a file to import by either:
    • Drag-and-dropping it at the Open dialogue window
    • Clicking Choose a file and selecting it in your file browser

Results

The configuration appears on the Canvas panel of the Editor.
Note: The file has to be a SPARKL XML.

Restoring a project in the Editor

You can restore a previously saved project from your browser's memory. The project is restored to its last saved version on the Canvas panel.

Procedure

  1. Select the BROWSER STORAGE tab on the Open dialogue window.
  2. Click the name of the project you want to restore.

Results

The restored project appears on the Canvas panel.

Loading a configuration from the Navigation Tree panel

Procedure

  1. Select the SPARKL tab on the Open dialogue window.
  2. Select the configuration you want to import from the Navigation Tree panel.

  3. Click OPEN.

Results

The configuration appears on the Canvas panel.
